I have lived and worked abroad for many years, in Great Britain, Mexico, Canada… These life experiences have given me an international outlook that I now use to help my patients.
“Uprooting”, repeated moves, adapting to new cultures can be experienced as trauma. Enriched by my own experience, with a deep understanding of cultures, beliefs and associated myths, I support you in the work of “mourning” your old life, towards the acceptance of your new life.
I am so passionate about the subject that it will become the theme of my final year dissertation: Finding your place as a woman between two cultures (culture of origin and host culture).
Back in France, settled near the polyglot and multicultural Sophia-Antipolis, I first founded a relocation services company: SLB Riviera Relocation. Its mission was to help expatriates settle in the Alpes Maritimes. I was involved in all levels of their daily administrative and logistical life as well as in the psychological adaptation to their new living conditions. Very quickly, this last dimension took over, leading me to specialize and further my training in psychology, until the creation of SLB Psychologie.

Today, as a clinical psychoanalyst, I enrich my practice with two tools: art therapy and psychogenealogy. As a mother myself, with a great deal of experience in therapeutic follow-up in a college, I know the stages of development from childhood to adolescence and the construction of identity. I also know what the weight of beliefs and that of society represents. My passion for psychology and human nature in the broad sense, leads me to a constantly renewed investment and enthusiasm. They allow me to best support my patients, towards a new psychological balance. In French and English!
